“Where R Ü Now” was more than just a summer smash hit, it marked a turning point of sorts for radio darling Justin Bieber. His saccharine pop star shine was given an all-new sheen thanks to the minimal but excellent production of EDM kingpins Skrillex and Diplo, aka Jack Ü.
For his latest offering, “Sorry”, Bieber has teamed up once more with Skrillex, and, again, the results are beyond promising. With additional production from Canadian beatmaker and Grimes associate Blood Diamonds, it’s a chill number marked by warm island rhythms and features Bieber in full-on apologetic mode, crooning: “Is it too late now to say sorry? Missing more than just your body.”

“Sorry” follows “What Do You Mean?” and the recently released Selena Gomez-aided “Strong”; it’s expected to appear on Purpose, Bieber’s follow-up to 2012’s Believe, due out on November 13th.
